Neo Rock Art represents the spirit and the function of the human being. My paintings go outside the traditional beauty of depicting the outer flesh, by plunging into the deep essence of the soul and form. How is that not beautiful-deliberately choosing to show the non-flesh fully? Because after all, the flesh can vary in form! My paintings are universal as they have a sense of timelessness and agelessness. When looking at my paintings, you, the viewer, automatically share the same qualities of the figures based on the desired form, yet the figures simultaneously provide one with a sense of alienation. A story in my work can be identified by what is shown by the surroundings and also by what is missing. A constant motif of life and death are present in my work, which gives the viewer a sense of the universal and infinite, as well as the idea that one ought to live in the present. Through my art, two extremes of art are shown: life and death. Thereby these ideas and my art together show that life is best understood and lived through the actualized perspective of death, despite mortality.
