Debbie loves many types of art.  She enjoys the creative energy of the artists in the Art Studio on the Boulevard.  Her passion is sewing..  She started learning to sew at a young age with the guidance of her grandmother and mother.  As a teenager she made many items in her sewing area at home.  When thinking about college she found that the Home Economics Degree classes matched many of her interests.  She graduated with a B.S. degree in Home Economics with an emphasis in Vocational Education from Bethany Nazarene College (now Southern Nazarene University) in Bethany, Oklahoma.  Because of her Father’s career in the Navy her family was able to travel and live in many locations.  She loves going to the beach, riding her bicycle, crocheting, painting and cooking.  She resides in Virginia Beach.
